Upon entering our office, one of our wonderful Chiropractic Assistants will help you get settled in. We request that you complete our patient forms located in the New Patient Center ahead of time when possible.
We offer free consultations you can choose to sign up for in advance of your exam and adjustment. This gives you an opportunity to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options before accepting care. This conversation is designed for the Doctors to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
Our doctors will perform a chiropractic examination using their highly educated hands and several orthopedic and neurological tests to determine sources or potential sources of pain and dysfunction. Posture, flexibility and gait are typically also analysed at this visit. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
X-Ray or MRI Studies
Depending on findings from our exam, we may refer you for an MRI or X-rays. Images are not necessary in most cases, especially with an exam from an expert chiropractor. We know that most spines have degenerative change, disc bulges, misalignment, and signs of aging and decay. Those same spines can have active, healthy lifestyles attached to a happy, pain-free person! Showing each patient their limitations is not always necessary. However, we may order them at any point it seems prudent during care.
Custom Chiropractic Adjustment
As we assess your body during this initial appointment, we then begin working on fixing area of weakness or misalignment. We are very customized in our methods of adjustments and weave in muscle rehabilitation throughout the session. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment.
After your adjustment, the doctor will recommend therapies to help speed up results and give the adjustment 'holding power'. We offer EMS, ultrasound therapy, traction, decompression, acupuncture, massage, kinesio-taping and rehabilitative exercises.
